How Influence Became a Transaction

Share

How many influencers traded something essential for success?

Not necessarily their souls in a literal sense, but their original authenticity as a whole.

They learned what the system rewards. They adapted themselves to it. They performed, compromised, repeated the formulas, and slowly became products of the very machinery they hoped to master.

The humiliation was not necessarily a single ritual.

Sometimes, the ritual is simply this:

How much of yourself are you willing to abandon in order to be accepted?

And when enough of the self has been sacrificed, what remains can become a half-product: successful on the outside, but divided within.

So then comes the question:

To whom do I speak?
What do I sell, if I refuse to sell myself?
Who am I trying to influence, if influence itself has become another form of control?

Perhaps the next step is not to become a greater influencer.

Perhaps it is to become unnecessary as an influencer.

To speak clearly enough that people no longer need to follow you blindly.

To create something that returns people to their own awareness.

And perhaps a time will come when nobody can truly influence another person against their own consciousness.

Not because communication disappears.

But because awareness becomes stronger than manipulation.

Then influence ends where consciousness begins.
